1.       Kirill Seymonov was born in Glastonbury, to a woman fleeing her husband. She failed and while Kirill was not raised knowing her. He did know his father and loved the man dearly.

2.       She killed herself rather then give Seymon his child. She should have known it wouldn’t matter.

3.       He knew his place since he was seven and while Necromancy is officially extinct in the UK, with no families professing to have the skill in over two centuries, Russia has no such laws so he usually stays there.

4.       He uses a glamour on his hands, or wears gloves. If he didn’t, they would look blackened and gangrenous in places. He claims they do not hurt.

5.       He attends the Quidditch World Cup every year. He was not allowed to play.

6.       His wand was elm and thestral mane hair. His grandfather’s.

7.       He respects the Malfoy and even wanted to mentor Lucius as was their pure blood way but was dissuaded. Instead, he spent time with his friend Nashira Burke.

8.       Kirill has a half blood daughter turning nine next summer. As an infant he worried she would inherit the Gift and almost has started to breath again that she’ll be safe.

9.       He took the Mark to protect her. Officially, the Dark Lord believes she was killed by Abraxas Malfoy as a mercy.

10.   He knows most of the Russian Vampire kings, they have an uneasy truce, and he is even employed when an unruly vampire or nest crosses the line.

11.   He has the power to destroy horcruxes without damaging a soul.

12.   Kirill and Amycus once spent a weekend figuring out how much he needed of a person before he could no longer Call them back. The results surprised him.

13.   Nessa and Julia have a small apartment no more than 15 minutes away from him at any time.

14.   Department of Mysteries has tried to court him four times. He declines each time.

15.   He believes Death is a companion, not someone to be defeated or enslaved. Most days.

16.   He has a cat named Thanatos. It’s a stray he keeps feeding he’s trying to get to come inside. He thinks talking to animals would have been a cooler magical trick.

17.   Lucius sings. Kirill plays piano. He jokes occasionally they just need a bass player, and they can moonlight.

18.   Once fought in a friendly duel with Albus Dumbledore. He was impressed he got as far as he did.

19.   He has lost the power to call upon a Patronus (a threstral) and tries not to think too hard on that.

20.   His magic is killing him but he imagines that’s the same for them all.
